Moderate quantities of milk and dairy foods
This group includes milk, cheese, yoghurt and fromage frais (but not butter, eggs or cream).
You should eat moderate amounts (i.e 2-3 servings per day) of these foods as they are an important source of calcium, zinc, B vitamins and protein.
Try to choose low fat options whenever you can (e.g. low fat or fat free yoghurts and fromage frais, low fat or reduced fat cheese, and skimmed or semi-skimmed milk).
