These days, we lead very busy lives and therefore we all get stressed from time to time.
Sometimes, stress can be a good thing - it is what gives us energy and drive, and makes us able to cope in emergencies.
Different people can tolerate different amounts of stress. One person may thrive in a particular situation which another person would find really stressful (e.g. working to a tight deadline).
People often get stressed about big changes in their lives, such as moving house, getting married, getting divorced, taking exams, or changing school/job. Other people get stressed about normal everyday events.
