Worried?
Perhaps you are concerned that another family member or a friend is using drugs. Unfortunately, there is no clear-cut list of telltale signs that somebody is using drugs. Although not definite proof of drug taking, some things to look out for are:
- small quantities of unusual tablets, capsules, powders or liquids
- small stickers or transfers
- burnt/discoloured spoons or tin foil
- syringes or needles
- cigarette papers, cigarette ends made from card, shredded cigarettes, lighters
- pipes
- butane gas canisters
- small paper wraps or pieces of folded plastic
- small bottles
